Summary: Mary is an awesome host and the house is comfortable and well apportioned. I was in town for the Michigan Ironman and really appreciated the soaking tub after the race. The beach is so serene this is a perfect place to relax and unwind.

Summary: There were 11 of us staying at Mary's Crystal Lake lodge: two families with children and grandparents in the mix. There was lots of space for everyone to do activities, whether together or separately, inside or by the water. The location was also perfect for quickly getting to our favorite spots on Lake Michigan and in Beulah, Frankfort, and Empire. The property is on the older side but exactly matches the online listing and is properly priced. Mary was very responsive on the few occasions I needed to connect. Would happily stay again!

Summary: When staying Up North, space is at a premium and the views are a must-- this property delivers on both. The owner is prompt when replying to texts and was quick to fix the one small issue we had. Truly a delight and can't wait to return.

Summary: The Lodge is quite large and accommodated our group of 3 generations as well as extended family. The upstairs area worked out great for our daughter and her 2 kids. The primary bedroom was spacious and off to one side for privacy. The deck was huge with a lot of seating and a dining area. The location was great - Crystal Lake is a very short walk away. There is a nice seating area on the lake. The water is amazingly clear, and the lake is perfect for kayaking. Grandkids loved the dock and the kayaks! Not a 5-star hotel but lake house rustic. Mary, the owner, has made some significant upgrades. She stayed in touch with us during our visit and was very sweet. We enjoyed our stay there.
