Summary: We traveled to Frankfort from Florida for the Michigan 70.3 race. With mom racing and a 14 month old with us we wanted somewhere easy and convenient for the athlete to get to all the race things without needing to drive. We also wanted somewhere for babe to come in and nap during the race. Serendipity House is basically right at the finish line. The location was perfect. Pre race we enjoyed stopping for coffee on our walk to the playground or beach.

Summary: We stayed in the Betsie suite and really enjoyed it. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We liked sitting on the front porch and watching the people go by. The beach was just steps away. Parking was never a problem, even on the 4th of July holiday. Note, bring a hairdryer if you need one.

Summary: Four friends and I stayed here for our girls weekend. The efficiency room was just as described. The reviews said that the bathroom door didn’t open all the way. That is accurate, but it opens almost all of the way. This really isn’t an issue. Also, we found the beds to be VERY comfortable. The mattresses are firm, which we found great for our backs. We could sometimes hear other people, but that’s to be expected when staying in a partitioned off house. The location is AMAZING!!!! Four doors to your left is the quaint, beautiful town of Frankfort. Two short, and I mean short, blocks to your right is the beach. There is one thing that should be changed. When we were checking out our room, there was a closed door that we opened. Much to our surprise, we saw a woman sitting on the couch in her suite. This door should not have been accessible by either side. They were a kind family and we all apologized. Other than that, I highly recommend the Serendipity. One more thing, there is a fire pit in the back. Another added bonus!
