Stay at Palm Island Resort, located on Florida’s Southwest Gulf Coast, is the state’s only true-out island resort. No bridges or causeways to the island exsist, which ensures a relaxed, tropical vacation setting. The island resort encompasses a two-mile portion of private, pristine beaches on the northern end of Palm Island. Guests travel to the island via car ferry and park their car in our island parking area. Transportation is provided by our bell staff and golf carts are also available for rent for registered guests.
Enjoy access to one of the 5 heated pools, plus hot tub and gas BBQ grills at each pool area. 11 hard tennis courts available for play and always complimentary. Our recreation center, Coconuts, offers a variety of rentals to include golf carts, bicycles, kayaks and beach umbrellas. Palm Island staff, newly back to work after the dreadful National Disaster, Hurricane Ian, bent over backwards to help us find 3 beach villas that were near each other! They even had golf carts and dockage for us! We were totally impressed. The only blight was the toilet in Beach Villa 2611 MASTER BEDROOM hardly flushed.

VERY relaxing, beautiful location, unspoiled, special. Only issue is cost of golf carts, which are needed if you want to get around a lot. Cost per night is pretty high as well.
