Positive: Stunning location and views. Five minute walk to a beautiful beach and local tavernas - wonderful.

Negative: The property was simple and clean - perfect as a base for a couple. But it was a little basic.

Positive: It's a 5 min walk to a beautiful beach with a lot less tourists than the beaches closer to Naxos town. The house has a nice outside lounging area and a small swimming pool to cool down in.

Negative: The interior is quite minimal, sterile almost. Given you're spending most of your time outside anyway it's not a big deal, but it certainly isn't a 'cosy' house. Also, it's located in a quite a dense cluster of these houses, so not a lot of privacy in the area outside.

Positive: A lovely apartment, very comfortable. It had everything. Fully equipped kitchen, good bed, very spacious sofa bed, two bathrooms, beautiful balcony, great outside space with sunbeds next to the pool. The area is quiet, the beach is a 2 minute walk and probably the best beach of the island, not too crowded. Stunning tavernas near by with local food at reasonable prices. The owners are extremely generous, we had fresh eggs, homemade sweets, warm figs that had just come off the tree, butter, rusks, honey, and all the basics for cooking. They were the best hosts. Even when we forgot an item they did everything they could for us to get it back immediately. I would back anytime!

Negative: Everything was perfect.

Positive: The best features of this property are its view, facilities and its host (Eleni). The property is as described on Booking.com and it is tastefully and stylishly decorated in a modern style. The pool is small but clean and located beside a comfortable terrace area. Eleni is also a great host who kindly provided local fruit and desserts upon meeting us at the time of arrival.

Negative: The only thing that I would highlight is this property's location, which clearly cannot be changed but should be considered. It is located in a rather remote area outside the main centre of Kastraki. The local bus can be taken from the port of Naxos town, takes about 45 minutes to arrive at the local stop from the Naxos Port and drops one off about 400m from this property. The property is also tricky to find as there are no numbers or clear street names in this part of Kastraki. Having said that, this becomes an advantage if what one seeks is a remote quiet place to enjoy a natural beach/seaside holiday.
