Summary: We enjoyed our stay at El Royal Gardens. The location is convenient for Universal studios and the staff friendly and helpful.

Summary: This has become our go-to place when we need to stay in the Studio City/Universal area of Los Angeles. It's not fancy (very basic furnishings) but the beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet. Staff is friendly and efficient. For an overnight stay in L.A., the rates are very reasonable and you can leave your car parked there at no additional charge.

Summary: Super clean and a cute place to stay. Neighborhood is decent but maybe looks a little sketchy. No issues on a 7 block walk at 11pm on a weeknight.

Summary: This hotel and its staff were just astonishing! Fantastic location, rooms are large and comfortable. The staff is friendly, nice and professional. I will for sure, come back again and f I am in the nearby. No hesitation. Universal studios are 5 min away with uber, for less than 10 dollars. You save then the parking fee.

Summary: If your plan is to visit universal, this option is good. Pretty close and at the same time far from the crowd. If you like to walk, you even can leave the car at the hotel and go walking as we did. Calm place and quiet, something simple and good.
