Positive: Great apartment in a good location. I've stayed in a few of these kind of places where they don't even leave you a tea bag, but our hosts were thoughtful enough to provide everything, even a small container of milk in the fridge. Not only that, there's a folder in the apartment containing all the information you could possibly need, as well as things like recommendations for some good pubs and cafes :o)

Positive: Very homely and relaxing. Useful manuals/info about the flat. Perfect location. A village, quiet feel with stunning views of Holyrood park all just a 25mins walk from Waverley station. So glad I chose it.

Negative: A slight issue with the shower (it stopped running hot). I didn’t contact owner because it was the weekend. I should have done as apparently they would have been round to fix immediately.

Summary: Perfect location for a relaxing long weekend offering all the excitement of an incredible city. I hope to be back x

Negative: There are 62 steps (no lift) to reach the apartment and this was not disclosed in the Bookings.com advertisement (only after booking was confirmed). This transparency is essential for older groups or those with mobility issues. There is limited nearby parking and expensive (with 4 hour restrictions which impacts your day). The flat has a washing machine but no dryer.

Summary: We would not have stayed here had we known the amount of steps to carry our suitcases.

Positive: Excellent location! The flat was clean and well-equipped. The view of Holyrood park and its location was excellent. Even with a torn ACL, the stairs were easy to navigate. It was peaceful and quiet and very comfortable. The flat is a short walk from a TON of grocery stores just up the hill. The Palace and Parliament were a short walk. LOVED the area and the access to the park was perfect. I can't wait to stay here again.

Negative: We were unable to open the bedroom window However, this was mostly due to us not understanding how it worked and were afraid to break it. A little guide in the property booklet would be much appreciated.

Positive: Really good location. Good view of Holyrood park from the windows. Short walk to the city and shops. Apartment is well presented, bright and very clean. Temperature indoors just right. The fresh fruit, biscuits and tea and coffee were welcome.

Negative: Requires a stand alone washing up dryer because the current one which fits over the sink is too small.

Summary: This apartment is a hidden gem.

Negative: The key lock was hard to locate as it didn't have wavy lines on it as stated so therefore we had to try all the keys locks in the location to find ours.
