Positive: The staff were friendly. Check-in was quick. This hotel is in a good location and is a great value for the money.

Negative: My only complaint is the pillows. Very small. This is an older hotel so it's not going to be pristine clean but the overall cleanliness is still very acceptable.

Positive: Nice large rooms and comfortable and clean beds. We have stayed here before with no issues.

Negative: Rooms 108 & 109 Saturday night had no hot water for showering. 5 in our group had to take cold showers. Tried to call front office; room phone not working-in either room. Let front desk know at checkout. Other travelers had same experience Saturday night as well.

Summary: We have stayed here before with no problems. We hope they fix current issues for future stays.

Positive: All was good.

Negative: I Did not like that my son had to share a room with someone else because his virtual card was not received by the hotel (Econo Lodge in Troy, Alabama; Reservation Aug 29 - Aug 31, 2025). He paid in advance. Now no one or AI is able or willing to give him a refund. This is not right and we want it corrected, a refund is requested. I am hoping this will reach the right person that can take action. We have always used Booking.com for reservations. Anyone that can assist us (not AI) please call us.. Thanking you in advance.

Positive: The bed was so comfortable. The room overall was clean. Love the rooms are non smoking! The lamps have plugs in them so you're able to charge your phone on both sides of the bed.

Negative: The room felt damp because they didn't have the ac on beforehand. The microwave was dirty. The shower head and other fixtures in the bathroom were rusty.

Summary: Great price for a decent room
