Positive: The property is really close to Durham centre, is beautifully presented, well appointed, and pristine. It is perfect for a base for exploring Durham or other places nearby and the host was really helpful and accommodating. This is one of the nicest Airbnb properties I've stayed in.

Negative: Nothing. I couldn't find fault with the accommodation.

Positive: The property was immaculate. Everything you could wish for is provided.The owners live next door and are happy to help in any way. A microwave appeared the same day that we told Frankie it would be helpful. Lovely fresh towels , tea, coffee, etc. as little welcome pack of snacks provided.Charming owners. Lots of places to eat...Especially the Vietnamese.

Negative: Very near a dog walking route. Some lazy owners leave mess!

Positive: The owner lives next door and is very friendly and welcoming. They are clearly passionate about the property. A welcome pack of treats and a little note greeted us. The property is clean, spacious, comfortable and modern with two large smart tvs, a dishwasher, coffee maker and a large utility with a washing machine for longer stays. The showers were hot and powerful. The beds were comfortable and the area is quiet so a good night's sleep was had by all. There was enough parking for 4 cars. There is a large secure back garden. The owner had provided lots of tourist leaflets of local attractions. There is a nice Chinese takeaway a few minutes away and a Sainsbury's Local is a 5-10 mins walk away. The house is a good base for exploring the wider area of Durham. The house is only a short drive from the A1.

Negative: There isn't anything we didn't like about the property although I think it's worth mentioning that it's a good 25-35 minute walk from the house to the center along a busy road. A taxi was £6 one way and there are buses. There were few things we felt could improve the property and I did message the owner. Waste paper bins in each bedroom and bathroom would be nice, some tea towels in the kitchen would have been useful, some people felt a microwave would be nice and it was lacking some garden furniture. We had lovely weather and it would be have been nice to sit outside.
