Summary: We were emailed and told to collect keys from the apartment. Once landed we directed a cab to the apartment, then phoned the office to give our arrival time. We were then told to go direct to the office to collect the keys. Despite showing the email, we were still charged €40, before being given the keys. We then had the additional cost of a cab to the apartment. The apartment was modern, spacious but had many faulty items, both dangerous and unsightly. The wooden floor on the landing is damaged, the wood is missing in areas and I cut my foot on this flooring on arrival. No first aid kit. Drawers in the master bedroom are all broken. Safe doesn’t work. Sofa ripped. Light switch master bedroom exposed and dangerous without the plastic covering. No cork screw. No plugs for any sinks or bath. Downstairs bedroom smelt musty. Cleaning charge but if bins were not emptied (down street) there was a fine. For the money not brilliant

Summary: This is a beautiful, spacious apartment in the city centre. The bedrooms each have their own bathroom which is great for a family with a 13 and 10 year old. The apartment is close to all transport links in the city. The restaurant recommendations provided were all excellent. I highly recommend this as a place to stay in such a beautiful city such as Barcelona.
