Positive: Duisdale House Hotel impressed with its large, quiet rooms, comfortable beds, and modern touches, such as a nice modern shower. The peaceful Isle of Skye setting, near the storm beach and woodland, made for a peaceful setting, combined with ample parking, made it a relaxing retreat. Breakfast and dinner were excellent.

Negative: Rates were high, though that’s expected on the Isle of Skye in peak August season.

Positive: I recently stayed at the Duisdale House Hotel in Isleornsay, and I must say, it was an excellent experience from start to finish. My stay in a Standard Room with a queen-size bed and a bathtub was incredibly comfortable. The room was spacious, offering plenty of room for relaxation, and I loved that it was serviced every day, keeping everything tidy and fresh. The hotel also offers private parking, which was very convenient, especially when traveling with my furbaby, REX. The staff was fantastic and very accommodating, making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly – instead of just handing us the room key, the friendly staff (shoutout to the Indian staff!) personally guided us to our room, which made us feel truly welcome. The hotel’s restaurant provided great meals, and I was impressed with the quality of the food. Plus, the added bonus of being able to bring my dog made the experience even more enjoyable. I was also happy to note that there was no additional charge for our pet, despite comments from other reviewers. Overall, I highly recommend Duisdale House Hotel for anyone looking for a charming, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay in Isleornsay. Whether you're traveling with pets or on your own, you'll have a fantastic time here.
