Negative: Steep staircase; we're mature&arthritic! No shelf/space in shower for shampoo etc...all on floor. Again we have restrictions....but there is space there...

Positive: The cottage was lovely. It was warm, clean, furnished to a high standard, and had everything we needed for a few days away. The beds and bedding were comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water and a powerful shower along with good quality fluffy towels. All the little extras that the owners had thought to provide were appreciated. The large umbrellas when it rained, the torch and first aid kit ( we didn't need it, but it showed they had thought of everything) along with the games, books provided. The area is lovely, plenty of walks to do. Cows in the field at the bottom of the garden, a rabbit hopping across the garden, and a bat circling the cottage late at night, all made for an idyllic setting for a short break. Outside seating area was lovely, a sun trap through the day, and although we didn't use the barbecue, it was nice to have the option to if we had wanted to. Coffee machine with pods, selection of teas, and a bottle of wine and biscuits waiting for us arriving were welcomed. We'll definitely book again.
