Positive: The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, the living room was comfortable and the bedrooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was clean with a very good shower. There is a very pretty garden with, at the time of our visit, many flowers in bloom. The cottage is situated in a very rural location adjacent to a petting farm and has easy access and a private parking area. We were welcomed on arrival by the host who lives close by. She was friendly and helpful and easily contactable. The weather was splendid during the whole of our stay and on request she provided us with a sun lounger so that my partner could relax out in the sun. The only improvement I could suggest would be a provision for outdoor eating in the sunshine during good weather. A table and chairs in a sunny spot would be wonderful. All in all though we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Positive: A fully equipped cottage in a unique position, immediately next to a working farm park. So relaxing with a private garden, visited by a variety of bird life. We were there when there were plenty of fledglings around. Ten minutes from Morpeth, an ideal location as a base for visiting the coast and scenic, historic places of Northumberland. Now we have found Buzzards Rest, will hopefully have the opportunity to return.

Negative: Nothing to dislike, as far as we are concerned.
