Positive: We stayed here while traveling through Des Moines. It is conveniently located and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. I accidentally booked the wrong date and they were able to correct it. When we arrived, the hotel was over booked and the king suite was not available. They were able to give us a double queen room at a nice rate.

Summary: I will stay here whenever I visit Des Moines.

Positive: We have enjoyed the relaxing dinner in the evening. It is nice not to have to go out after all long day of driving not to have to find a place to eat in a strange city.

Negative: They only had two elevators and the one was broken down. We were on the 7th floor and it took forever for the elevator. We decided to walk down the stairs and we got down before some of those that were still waiting. When you are elderly, it would be hard for them. We are almost 70.

Summary: Great, but it would have been better if both elevators were working.
