Positive: Fantastic location directly opposite Beynac Chateau. It has its own dedicated parking space. The house is very private and not overlooked , despite it being in a very touristy area. The house has lots of space and every bedroom has its own en suite bathroom. The communal living areas are comfy and spacious. It’s located close to the Dordogne river with access to multiple walks, river excursions on canoes and cycling - hire bikes from nearby Sarlat

Negative: Nothing really - all good - maybe brighter overhead lights in the kitchen.

Summary: Superb and stunning location for a central location in The Dordogne

Positive: Amazing location. Recently renovated with ensuites for each bedroom - excellent for our group of friends. Lovely yard with chateau views and outdoor furniture. Adjacent Chateau a must visit - informative and awesome views.

Negative: Directions not clear enough as the entrance to the property (which is surrounded by a high wall) consists of a solid wooden gate with a sign saying no parking in front. Luckily one of our group was French and managed to find some-one who could direct us as well as contact the owner who had not advised us regarding arrival procedure. No written instructions regarding cooktop or departure requirements was frustrating.
