Summary: Beautiful hotel, very clean and comfortable. Delicious food both breakfast and dinner. All staff were clean and smartly dressed and were very friendly and helpful. The dining room staff were very attentive and never let you feel forgotten about or missed out. A very relaxing stay.

Summary: The welcome was was warm and the room large and clean. We had dinner in the restaurant the first night and it was delicious with impeccable service. We had breakfast on two mornings, again food was very good. Two small criticisms from our stay was that the bed/mattress was very firm but this is about personal taste so may be fine for others! We spoke to reception and while they couldn’t offer a different room they did provide a mattress topper which resolved the issue and we were happy with that. The second criticism was that after we drank the water on the first night, it wasn’t replaced by housekeeping which i would have expected. Would definitely stay again though we had a lovely time

Summary: Lovely hotel, plenty of space, great atmosphere, lovely grounds. The breakfast was a little limited and the spa are felt a bit municipal but was just what was needed.

Summary: Hotel was very ornate and a beautiful setting for a wedding. A bit dated and worn in areas but that makes it charming. Too warm in the bedroom and couldn’t turn the bathroom radiator off which provided all the heat. Bed was comfy. Carpets needed to be cleaned. Gym had very basic and minimal equipment and floors were dirty and looked to have not been cleaned for while. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming.

Summary: Very nice hotel; comfortable and welcoming. We were attracted by the good deal offered. Food was good but daily specials would have been a welcome variance. Shower head in bathroom had black on it.

Summary: An amazing place with beautiful hotel and gardens. Dinner and breakfast options are really good, food was delicious and with good variety of choice. We loved the room which is spacious and nicely decorated.

Summary: Reservation was booked to a lodge type room separate from main building rooms. When arrived was given a room within building. Was quite disappointed with this as this was booked specifically for my stay and expected to be staying in private room away from main building.
