Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Location was very good for our trip. We had friends just 4 miles away. The layout of the property was very nice and it was a very quiet location with excellent day and night views.

Negative: The garbage can was overflowing but must have been rolled to curbside for pick up too late. We called in to report it and expected it to be collected but it never was. Due to this oversight, we could not put our garbage into the can. The recycling was picked up. Also, when posting the listing and promoting a pool, it was disappointing to learn that there was no heating without extra cost until AFTER it was already booked. There are many things that need to be attended to that would make this a top, top property rental...like lights for the back patio (BBQing in the dark is lousy), having the ceiling fan to the back patio actually work (or label the switch for it; better yet ADD some ceiling fans for that large of a space), and relocate the built in BBQ grill away from the wall of the house....a true fire hazard. Don't run the sprinklers so early in the evening....a fall almost took place due to slippery walkway when coming back from a dinner. Also, you may want to check the timers as it seemed there was overwatering...just as an FYI. Also, just as an FYI....there are roof tiles that need to be replaced that we noticed from the master suite balcony. This didn't affect our stay, but they should be attended to.
