Negative: Room 516 had a very unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom drains. Had to leave the bathroom door closed to keep the smell out of the bedroom. We stayed both Friday and Saturday and both night they had an event on (some sort of charity event on Friday and a wedding on Saturday). Problem was they only have 1 bar, which got over run by hundreds of event guests both evenings which made it incredibly difficult to relax in the hotel bar. You would have thought for a play the size of this hotel, the function rooms would have their own separate bar facilities

Negative: Inoperative lifts, restaurant seating dirty, restaurant staff forgetful and slow. Food good but poor value overall.
