Positive: We stayed here for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Ida went out of her way to look after us. We were given all the local dishes which was great. Adi our driver was a very careful driver and cheerful. Ida's mother, Mariyem, her sister Yanti and Neighbour Rika gave us the most delicious food, served with love. All meals were included, terrific value for money. Ida's father, Djito hired us his bike and came for walks with us. Leni made us some tasty donuts and Doni was very friendly too. Just one big happy family which we felt we became a part of, thank you so much. The village life is simple but everyone is friendly and cheerful. Just the experience we were looking for.....

Positive: My girlfriend and I stayed here for 10 days and had an amazing stay. Super nice rooms - cold ac, hot water and modern finishings. The rooftop hangout was probably the highlight. The staff and the food were top tier. After about a month in Indo we were really craving some home cooked meals and this hit the spot! Super fresh ingredients and a variety of different meals. I don’t think I have ever eaten so much fruit in 10 days! Don’t be alarmed but google maps says the property is on the beach but it is just a few 100m up the main road… you can’t miss it.

Positive: I liked the finish of the property as it is to a good standard and looks very stylistic and modern.
Negative: After a long two weeks of cycling from Jakarta I found the stairs a bit of a struggle as they’re uneven sizes with the top steps being the largest.
Summary: The kindness and homeliness of the property stood out most to me.

Positive: This is a hidden gem in East Java, a quiet get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Here you get to experience the beautiful Indonesian culture firsthand, the food provided was authentic and delicious. The people in the village were welcoming and the beach beautiful. Good surf! The host very obligingly organised tours for me and lifts to the local market.
Negative: It was a bit noisy during the day as there were finishing touches going into the homestay.
Summary: A lovely, cultural and rejuvenating stay.
