Summary: Our multigenerational family has been coming together each summer for over 10 years at Lake Gaston. We have stayed in some wonderful homes, but our entire family agreed, this was by far the best and we will absolutely be coming back. The layout of this home was prefect for our family size - upstairs for the older generations and downstairs a great fit for our young family groups. The amount of provided amenities was over and above. We never even had to unpack our own lake towels or floats, so many were provided. The kayaks and paddleboat were used daily. The water off the dock was perfect for swimming and the zero entry option was great for the toddlers in the group. The lovely yard, the fire pit, games, blankets, kitchen setup, I could go on and on. And that porch! Heaven. The owners even left us a lovely welcome basket of snacks and gift card from a local bakery (yummy!) Communication was so easy and check-in and out a breeze. Highly recommend this home and we cannot wait to book again soon!

Summary: This was a great house. Everything in the house was very modern, the house was clean and everything that we needed in the kitchen was provided. The pictures of the screened in back porch don't do this justices. The screened in back porch has an area to lounge and a table for the family to eat. This is where we spent most of the time that we were not on the water. It has a great view of the lake. The boat house has everything you need to enjoy the water. Life jackets, floats, skies, Knee board. You name it they have it in the boat house. We have rented lake house on Gaston for the last 6 years and this house ranked the highest among our group.

Summary: The Haga home is absolutely beautiful! We've stayed in many rental homes and this one had everything you could possibly need. From the dishes to the supplies to the throw blankets. They did not miss a beat! There is everything you need for a lake - floaties, kayaks etc. The house is comfortable and the sunsets are a wonderful treat! Perfect spot - just sit on the deck and the sunset comes to you! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Summary: We had a fantastic stay here with family for a week in early July. The house was perfect for large groups with plenty of space. We loved the large screened in porch where we ate most meals and played board games at night. The quality of the home and the furnishings is top notch, and had every amenity we needed. There were plenty of options included to keep everyone of all ages entertained. Boating on the lake was lots of fun, with plenty of areas to explore. The boat ramp was a short boat trip away, and the property has plenty of plenty of space for parking multiple cars and a boat trailer. Sandra and Roy were quick to respond to any questions we had, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. We were sad to leave, and would absolutely return for another visit.

Summary: This was our first stay at this home and it did not disappoint! Beautifully appointed and perfect for large groups / families! The gentle slope of the lot worked well for our parents (79 and 84), and the kids of all ages loved the games inside and outside the home. The dock was great for sunning, floating and tying up our boat. The boat traffic was a little heavy on Sunday but throughout the week it was much quieter and great for tubing and fishing!! Highly recommend!!

Summary: Our family reunion of 18 (ranging from young kids and teens, to young adults and grandparents) had an amazing week-long stay at this lake house. The house was spotless and well-equipped, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time together. We spent our days enjoying the lake from the dock, making good use of the provided rafts and kayaks. Sunsets by the fire pit were magical and picture perfect. The owner was fantastic - very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We highly recommend this lake house for a memorable family vacation, and would love to return someday!
