Summary: We loved our stay at the lake house! Our family had a wonderful 3 night stay just relaxing & enjoying the fall weather. We did some kayaking, drove 20 minutes to a haunted corn maze, went to the flea market right up the road and then enjoyed a day in downtown Raleigh. We celebrated our dog’s 10th birthday there and it made it so special to have him with us. We made some wonderful memories and will forever cherish our time together there. Beautiful home!

Summary: Oh My Goodness this place is amazing! My husband just retired from the Navy and we wanted to unplug with our family and enjoy some time before civilian life begins. We found this place and it was EXACTLY as listed and even nicer in person. We had 6 adults, 2x12 yr olds a 10 yr old and a dog. We had PLENTY of room and then some. Our mornings were filled with coffee on the screened-in porch while the fellas casted lines off the dock. The kiddos loved tubing and the lake water was so clear and clean. We took the boat to dinner one night at WatersVew and it was very delicious with a great view...plus only like a 5 min boat ride just past mile marker 9 just past the Eaton's ferry bridge. Never have I stayed at a place for the week where we only had to go to the grocery store once...but this place is stocked with everything you could need. We followed suit and paid it forward leaving things we thought the next family might find useful. Even the light switches are labeled, such a nice touch! Big shout out to the house Uno deck as we had some cut throat games every night! There are more than enough floats, chairs, life vests anything and everything you could ever think of. We had one downfall...my daughter did break her wrist but thanks to the very informative notebook provided by the host we had already seen info to the closest Urgent Care and Emergency Department. Although sad and terrifying I was so thankful to have that information already tucked in the back of my mind.

Summary: The house is in a really great location and has all the amenities you need. It is truly cove style with main lake views. The hosts are really responsive and super helpful and friendly.

Summary: Stayed the week at Cardinal Cove. My kids and grandkids had a great time swimming off the dock. We rented a pontoon boat for three days and was able to tie up the boat at the dock. Easy access to the lake.

Summary: Great house!! We had a wonderful time and the property was perfect. Plenty of parking, an easily accessible dock (and water toys), and an ideal yard with a firepit and dog run. We would definitely rent again! THANK YOU!!

Summary: We gathered to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday and what a great weekend! The property is right on the water and has lots of places to hang out - hard to pick which one. We appreciated the time together so much and beautiful weather certainly helped with the gorgeous lake views.

Summary: Our family of ten enjoyed our stay at Cardinal Cove. The water toys available were fun for the entire family, especially the paddle boat. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and utensils. The upstairs sitting area was a little small for our family movie watching but the downstairs sitting area worked fine. The property is older and needs a bit of maintenance on walkway to lake specifically the handrails. Inside, the property is updated with new lighting and fans. A grocery store is very close by for those food items forgotten. Tropical storm Ophelia arrived during our stay but only dampened one day. The lake was nice and even the puppy got into swimming.
