Summary: Wonderful accommodation in this mountain retreat. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Very close to the castle. Loved the hot tub snd took advantage everyday. We added a 3rd day to just enjoy the experience. Dining options were limited but good. Recommended.

Summary: Very pleased with our hotel choice. The receptionist was extremely helpful and informative on our arrival. Our room is well appointed, clean and tastefully decorated. The hotel is situated the centre of Marvão everything is easily accessible. The views from our terrace are spectacular. We will certainly stay here again.

Summary: Everyone was so friendly at the hotel and Elsa very helpful. They made us a dinner reservation and allowed us to bring breakfast up to the room when I didn’t have enough time to eat and then get ready. The room was comfortable open the windows was really nice! Great location right next to the castle in the parking was super easy. They also helped us find the best route to drive up to the castle, which made it a lot easier than trying to navigate the little streets. The breakfast buffet was simple, but everything was so so delicious!

Summary: The welcoming staff was warm and helpful. Our bedroom was very small. The road to get there was quite challenging. But overall, we really enjoyed our stay right next to the castle.

Summary: We had the room next to the hot tub with a balcony overlooking the valley, the cities below and the mountains. Wow, wow, wow! Fort was right next door. Restaurants were available even though it wasn’t high season. We fell in love with Marvão. What a wonderful place
