Summary: First time at St. Augustine beach. The communication with the owner along with the check-in was excellent. Our time at the location was very enjoyable. The property was adequate for our needs. The property is close to the ocean but there was not a view of the ocean from the house. Not a big deal as only a short walk to be able to see and enjoy the beach and ocean. The beach space is large, well maintained with nice white sand. The owner provided a very detailed helpful list of things to do and restaurants to visit in the area which was very helpful. Would love to return to this location.

Summary: The VRBO listing claims "ocean view bedrooms" and from the title "Direct Oceanfront Cottage", and a picture taken from a second story of the condo behind the cottage which makes it look like the ocean view is right outside the windows, you assume you are getting that. In reality there is a berm blocking any water view. I understand there was work done building this berm recently, but the listing should indicate there is no longer that view. That being said, we loved our stay in the cottage. The ocean was just behind the berm and you can hear the ocean if you open your windows. I would stay again.

Summary: We rented this cottage and paid more because it was on the beach. The property manager did not tell us there was a major beach renovation project underway. Heavy equipment operated outside our bedroom window 24/7. Backup beepers were constant. The light fixture in our bedroom shook from all the noise. We should have been informed.

Summary: The stay was okay. Wasn’t what we expected. We were under the impression of a private beach, a beach view. The air conditioning struggled getting the back room cooled off. I’m thinking because it was an add on. But overall it was cute and clean. We did have some lizards and bugs in the back bedroom.
