Positive: Authentic, very cute old house; well equipped; electric blankets; comfortable bed; hot water; equipped kitchen; large fridge; great location on the edge of town; friendly & informative host.
Negative: Took some effort to make the fire - would be easier with instructions (eg "keep fire to the back of the hearth to avoid smoking the house") and to have the necessary fire materials ready.
Summary: Authentic old stone cottage on the edge of town for maximum star viewing potential :)

Positive: The place is quaint and has a nice small town feel. It feels very authentic. The location is excellent. The host provided electric blankets.
Negative: The fireplace loses a lot of heat to the outside. A modern upgrade would keep the place much warmer without losing the aesthetic.
