Positive: Owners bend their schedule to meet our needs. Brought full dinner to our room both nights. Food prepared with local grown items of Lasithi Plateau harvests. Despite the outside temperature it was very comfortable in the room for two people from Alaska. There was electric blackout blinds on the patio. There was a wash/dry machine for us to catch up on cleaning our travel clothes. The windows had screens to prevent bugs from entering the pristine room. The bed, comforter and pillows were very comfortable and very clean. There is also an elevator to give yourself a break. The Cave of Zeus is a short ways away & shops with local products and the theme park nearby was a nice surprise.

Positive: A very comfortable apartment with everything one might need for a stay. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, even though we had to check in quite late in the evening. The complex is located on a hill, so the view from the apartment and the adjacent restaurant was absolutely gorgeous.

Positive: Very nice view over Lastithi plane, at the entrance to the Zeus cave. unfortunately it was closed due to restoration works. very good breakfast with home made cheese pies! delicious!

Positive: /The room/apartment was beautifully done and extremely comfortable. The view, facing north over the plateau, was stunning but it did mean we got no sun. This was the beginning of October. I didn’t ask how it was at other times of the year. When i asked if we could have some heating on in the evening the wonderful owners sorted it straight away and we were then very cosy. The owners couldn’t have been more helpful. Unfortunately the Dikte cave was closed, exceptionally, but we walked up to it.

Negative: I cannot really fault anything. When we wanted to sit in the sun we went to the Taverna!

Summary: We had 3 nights at Dictamus Homes and it was definitely somewhere we would go to again.
