Positive: Very nice place in a quite village in the mountains. Amazing views from the mountains and very good location to unwind. The host, Vassilis provided us with fresh watermelons and melons from the garden every day. Very nice host, so welcoming and it feels you are visiting family not a business.

Negative: Everything was perfect, nothing to complain about.

Summary: Would definetly recommend this location and I can not wait to go back and stay longer.

Positive: Very comfortable and bright room with open plan including discrete seating area, kitchenette, sleeping area, and spacious bathroom. Generous breakfast ingredients provided (fresh bread delivered in morning, yoghurt, eggs, butter, coffee, jams, cheese in fridge). Well-equipped for cooking, good quality bedding, personable owners.

Summary: Lovely rural setting in tiny village on Lasithi plateau. Almost like staying with friends.

Positive: A very charming place for those looking to enjoy the quiet surroundings of the marvelous Lassithi plateau... so different from the busy tourist spots at the Northern coast. Christine and Vassilis offer a perfect blend of Greek and French hospitality. We (unfortunately) stayed for one night only and were very happy to find a perfectly equipped studio. Everything was already there for breakfast (which needs to be prepared by the guests themselves) and Vassilis brought fresh bread in the morning. We also were lucky to have dinner in their Kronio restaurant in nearby Tzermiado (which we would highly recommend as well). All in all, a more than pleasant stay in a beautiful location... and many reasons to come back again. For those looking for more information, see also Christines and Vassilis' webpage, which offers a good sense of the philosophy and the special atmosphere that you will find at Maison Kronio.

Positive: Here you can meet the real Crete, The real people, The genuine Crete hospitality. Here you are close to nature, can spot some vultures in the sky, take a long walk in the mountains. The apartment was large and comfortable, Well equipped, Fresh bread and breakfast every morning, A vegetable garden where you can pick your salad greens. All together was an amazing and unique experience

Negative: We were there in mid October, before they start to operate heating system November 1st. Nights were on the chilly side be prepared.
