Positive: Met by the friendly owner and shown around. A spacious and well appointed house next to the owners house. Spacious rooms. Breakfast was exceptional and generous. Loads of local advice given on where to go, walk and visit.

Positive: Beautiful house and comfortable beds. Excellent hosts. This is a true air BnB with the hosts making a delicious Scottish breakfast to order every morning. Jim and Caroline went above and beyond to make us feel at home. When our ferry was cancelled they assisted us in finding a solution. Jim also has a taxi business and is a wealth of knowledge of things to see and do on Islay.

Positive: Everything. The accommodations we excellent and our hosts were exceptional. The made to order breakfast was such a great plus and Jim showed us the sites of Islay. We definitely would book again. This was our best place so far on our trip. Loved it.

He went above and beyond by arranging his own trusted taxi to take us around Islay Island to explore the famous distilleries, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. The apartment itself was cozy, spotlessly clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with a range of options to start the day off right.
