Positive: Exceptional staff-we had Problems getting to the desert because of Heavy rainfall and flooded areas-the Camp offered US a complete House to stay for a couple of days before getting to the Camp itself-the camp was absolutely stunning and if you Plan to go to the desert-this is the only place to be-the atmosphere is gorgous and amazing-really recommend the camel riding Trip-it was not the Common Tourist trap-we were on our own with the Guide and they really cared about the animals🐪🐪

Summary: Our best experience in Oman🫶🐪 we will never forget these two Nights-you relally have to spend at least 2 night there

Positive: The camp is modern, well managed, very clean and has a great location over a dune overlooking sunset. It is 25-30 min drive from Bidiya so you do really feel being in the middle of the desert with red, yellow and golden sands around. The dinner was great and the person in charge of the camp was really very hospitable and helpful. We booked an Arabian tent ("deluxe double room" in booking.com) which is different from the small houses that are mostly shown on booing.com pictures. It was a real tent with a shower and toilet attached to it. It was very interesting experience, it was spotlessly clean, spacious and the big bed was very comfortable. Unforgettable night under the stars. On of the best experiences in Oman.

Positive: I never imagined that one day I would live a desert experience like the one I had in this place. At the beginning, we rode camels, then we headed to the camp where we found special preparations and a luxurious seating area to watch the sunset—an experience I will never forget. As for the food, it was excellent. The dinner was delicious. I even asked to extend the booking for a second night, but unfortunately it was not available. I will definitely visit this place again—it is truly indescribable.

Positive: Staying at this luxury camp in Wahiba Sands was one of the most special travel experiences of my life. Everything about it felt thoughtful, warm, and genuinely caring. The team made us feel welcomed from the very first moment, and the level of service was truly exceptional. The setting is breathtaking. You are deep in the desert, surrounded by towering dunes and absolute stillness. One evening they prepared a private sunset spot for us with drinks, tea, coffee, and snacks. It was unforgettable. Watching the sky change colour over the sand while everything was beautifully arranged felt almost unreal. The camp itself is gorgeous. The decor is interesting and stylish, with so many inviting sitting areas. Our tent felt like a small oasis. The rugs, the atmosphere, the lighting, everything created a sense of comfort and beauty. The bed deserves its own sentence. It was enormous, soft in all the right ways, and honestly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The bathroom is full size, beautifully done, and stocked with great products, which makes the whole experience feel like a boutique hotel hidden in the dunes. The food was another highlight. Local, fresh, and full of flavour. We still talk about the kunefe because it was the best we have ever had. In the morning we took a short trek up the dunes to watch the sunrise. It was peaceful, quiet, and surprisingly easy. Standing at the top and seeing the desert wake up was the perfect way to end our stay. This camp is the kind of place you remember long after you leave. It offers luxury, comfort, and a sense of calm that is hard to put into words. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Positive: The most beautiful trip I took was to the Wahiba Sands, with their stunning and captivating color. I saw the camels and the Bedouin homes, where peace and tranquility prevail. As for the accommodation, it was luxurious to an exceptional degree — I highly recommend it. The staff were wonderful and kind, and the place is elevated, allowing you to watch the sunset from the most beautiful spot.

Positive: The most beautiful experience and the best adventures were in the sand. We had an amazing outdoor gathering in a large tent with a beautiful fire pit. The gathering was wonderful, and the food they served was very delicious. We also climbed the sand dunes in the morning, which were close by, and enjoyed a magical and breathtaking sunrise. I highly recommend exploring the place—luxury in the heart of the desert.

The location is truly unique — set high above the golden sand dunes, offering breathtaking sunset views right from our room. This special setting makes Desert Escape stand out from any other desert camp. We were warmly welcomed at sunset with traditional Omani sweets, Arabic coffee, and other treats — a beautiful gesture presented in a luxurious Bedouin style that made us feel genuinely special. A perfect blend of authenticity, elegance, and serenity. Highly recommended
