Negative: It’s a bit remote. Hard to get about without transport. General upkeep needs some attention, staff while lovely were poorly trained., particularly wait staff. We did four nights two would have been plenty. The massage beauty treatment was exceptional. Breakfast was generous and good , restaurant meals generally good . While it was a lovely hotel with a little more effort it could be great.

Positive: The beds were very comfortable, the view was spectacular, the food amazing. It’s a 10 min drive to Batur, so it’s perfectly located.
Negative: The traffic noise is loud so I suggest you wear earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise.

Positive: One indoor restaurant and one outdoor by the pool. Both have a great view of Lake Batur and surrounding mountains. Food is very well prepared and presented.
Negative: The location is not suitable for walking to nearby restaurants etc.
