NEW BUILD READY for 2019 summer season! Denali Wildlife Grizzly Cabin,, just 10 miles north of Denali National Park and 3 miles south to our quaint town of Healy. We are a little over a mile off the Parks Highway, most of that private road - watch for the moose they will probably be standing in the road watching you. We sit tucked away on 27 wooded acres surrounded by state land, at the base of Mt Healy and Otto Lake. With the seclusion, tranquil privacy and the amazing panoramic mountain views you get the "Alaska Wilderness" feeling that so many people worldwide come to our beautiful state hoping to find. With great hiking and Otto Lake right out your door, the abundance of wildlife that comes thru at any given time,, moose, caribou, Alaska hare, red fox, wolves, bear, owls. Don't be surprised if your sitting on your deck taking in the awesome views in the evening and you hear a wolf howling or the sound of owls - hoot back at the owls and they'll respond!
The Grizzly Cabin is one of several situated on our tranquil wooded acreage, all are studio style cabins themed after wildlife in Denali National Park, new and built this winter/spring. They are luxury with a touch of rustic, so whether you head down to Glitter Gulch to do some shopping, go out your cabin door on a wilderness hike, picnic by the lake, or right on your deck. BBQ (we supply the charcoal and propane), or sit by the fire ring (firewood provided) relaxing, roasting marshmallows making smore's (supplies provided in the pantry :)) We designed and built our cabins with your comfort and relaxation in mind,,,,, each cabin has 2 plush queen pillow top beds, therapeutic pillows (that won't give you a neck ache) ceiling fans when you want that slight breeze in your room, Italian Tile and hard wood flooring, nice dining room table to eat on and play games on, kitchenette's that have microwaves, refrigerators/freezers, keurig coffee makers, toasters, sinks, dish soap and kitchen towels also
a few other small kitchen appliances, but they DO NOT have stoves in them. They have big showers, soap, shampoo, conditioner and nice thick towels, I look forward to making your Alaska trip a relaxing, memorable one. Summary: The cabin was nicely done and the setting was beautiful. The layout replicated a large hotel room and only had a refrigerator and microwave and wasn't well stocked with dishes to use but we still enjoyed our stay.

Summary: The Grizzly cabin in Denali Wildlife was nothing short of amazing. It was beautifully decorated, clean and spacious. It was remote enough to be one with nature and hike from the cabin, yet be at nearby restaurants and Denali National Park in 10 minutes or less. This cabin was a gem!

Summary: Perfect location. Grocery, brewery nearby. Exactly what we needed for a cozy 2-night visit to Healy / Denali. WiFi did not work consistently -- not an issue for us as data was readily accessible. Would recommend!

Summary: The property is a studio cabin, very clean, good fridge, microwave only kitchen, nice bathroom, and obviously well looked after. It provided what we wanted: a cozy place to sleep after spending the day in Denali. Other cabins are nearby but not so close as to be intrusive. Be prepared for a 5 min drive on a well maintained gravel road to reach the cabin from the main road, but its pretty easy to find. We wish the cabin had some chairs other than the dining chairs. As it is you have to sit on the beds if you want a comfortable seat. Also the communication from the host could have been a bit better. The directions sent were very vague as to how far the drive was from a landmark ("5-8 miles"... really?) and they never explained that there were multiple cabins. On arrival we had to check back to our reservation to figure out which one was ours. Not a big deal but room for improvement. Overall it was a nice stay, gave us what we were looking for and we would recommend it to others.

Summary: We were blown away by the view from this cabin! Beautiful property. I so appreciated the keurig cups for coffee in the morning, thank you! And we loved seeing a moose on the side of the road eating her dinner. We would definitely choose to stay again!

Summary: Cabin was a perfect basecamp for exploring Denali National Park. Only a few minutes to the park entrance and to restaurants. Cabin was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities you’d want. Owner is incredibly friendly and responsive to any issues. 10/10.

Summary: The cabin was very clean and included many amenities that were very appreciated (coffee, creamer, s’mores supplies, cleaning supplies, etc.). The property is beautiful and secluded off of the highway, but is only a 10 minute drive to the Denali National Park and gift shops. There is also a great brewery just 5 minutes away that we really enjoyed. We were lucky enough to see moose right outside of the cabin one of the evenings we stayed. I would recommend this cabin to anyone traveling to Denali!
