Fully renewed this modern apartment is just a stones throw away from the Coliseum, Roman Forum, Mouth of Truth and all the major important historical sites.
Located in the heart of Rome the property is within walking distance to Fontana di Trevi, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Campo dei Fiori and across the Tiber river to enchanting Trastevere, famous for its narrow streets and cozy restaurants.
The location simply could not be better as the area is one of the most famous and picturesque of the historical center, surrounded by restaurants, typical Italian cafes and wine-bars where you can flip away your tiredness over a good glass of wine.
Only a couple of blocks away, there is a colorful, large open market and every morning can be found fine food, fresh produce, fruit, vegetables, wine, cheese and wonderful bread.
The apartment is located at 100 meters from the romantic Tiber River. We can’t talk about Rome without mentioning the Tiber, a river that symbolizes the city and undoubtedly played a fundamental role in the Roman Empire’s fortune. Just think about the fact that its waters were used to transport the materials used to build imperial Rome.

Summary: Just outside tourist zones but public transportation greatly available. Local and authentic eateries at all price points within a block or two. Very quiet as windows and doors are interior to a courtyard. Apartment extremely clean and bright and perfectly sized for two. Host very communicative and gave great recommendations. Pleasantly supplied with coffee, kitchen equipment, bath needs. Bed was very comfortable and no noise from any neighbor. We felt very safe and secure. We will stay here when we return. Highly recommended.
