Summary: We stayed here for 7 nights and enjoyed every day. Beautiful views from balcony and private pool. It’s quiet and away from popular tourist traps. Had basic kitchen amenities so we were able to make breakfast and lunch. Everything was very clean and neat on arrival. The private pool was used every day and night, fantastic for a family with kids. Stelios and staff were so kind and very helpful. Parking available and a short drive to Rethymno. Summary: Wow, what a hidden gem up on the mountain close to the village of Skaleta and Prinos. This is a magical place with the most amazing views of the sea of Crete and the backyard is an olive farm and it’s only a 10-15 min car ride to Rethymno. With only seven studios/apartments/villas this is the perfect location for enjoying the wonders of Crete. The quality and standard of this place is top quality. The views, the pool and the aesthetic of the hotel, you can’t find it everywhere. Now let’s talk about the host and owner Stelios, he is so lovely and welcoming. If you find the location without his direction he will be impressed. Before entering your room you will get the best lessons on where to go, where to eat, where to explore and just that by itself is so appreciated. You will also get the olive oil they make at the farm, perfect for all the greek salads we ate during lunch. I’ve been to many places in Greece and tried a lot of accommodations, but this was a whole experience. The breathtaking views of the ocean and all the sunsets we got to enjoy. Longing until next summer because we will be back for sure! Thank you Stelios and the rest of the team for being so nice and welcoming!

Summary: ❤️ This is Crete at its best (and we’ve been to some very nice places on Crete… ;-)) This small hotel is for people looking for a special, peaceful and very aesthetic, yet „functional“ accommodation. The studio rooms are spacious and well thought through- ideal for a family of 4. With 2 teenagers or 4 adults you should opt for the big apartments though. The kitchenette is perfectly set up (even for cooking small meals like pasta etc). The outside area is simply heavenly… the view and sunset to die for. The private pool is the best we’ve had in Europe. The location is remote, yet not too far from everything you need. A rental car is a must have though. 10min to simple or fancy beach clubs. Rethymno is approx. 15min in the car. There’s a steep staircase-path from the hotel to the beach… even though that „beach“ is not really pretty for hanging out (but surely serves a quick swim in the sea if desired). Stelios is an extremely lovely and very caring host ❤️. He made us feel home and like we’ve been here many times before. Stelios was available anytime needed and checked on all his guests daily. (Him and his daughter also helped us tremendously when we had a small emergency including a hospital visit.) We are already thinking of returning to this little gem next year…
