Summary: This villa was perfect for our family of 5. The main level has a nice kitchen, living and dining room with 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. Perfect for my adult children to stay and to cook meals. The 2nd floor has a nice bedroom and bathroom and smaller kitchen and sitting area. Really nice to give me and my husband our own space. Both have fantastic balconies which we spent a lot of time on. Having the pool was great to cool off on hot days or when coming up from the beach which is very close to the villa. I really liked this location because it wasn't in a really busy area yet it was close to bigger towns we wanted to visit. Also loved that there was a grocery store in walking distance along with places to eat. The property managers were incredible. Anytime I had a question, etc they were always quick to respond. They helped me arrange transport from and to the airport, rental car and a meal to be prepared at our villa by a chef. Would definitely recommend staying here. .

Summary: Superb holiday. Immaculate property. Walk down the road and a few minutes later you’re on the beach in a little secluded spot. Turn right and a further 5 minutes around the cove finds a large stretch of beach which was never busy. That was our favourite spot. Lots of restaurants within a ten minute walk. Be sure to check out Akrogiali Tavern … perfect spot for watching the sun set. Hosts were brilliant. Helped us arrange taxis to from and to the airport. Always on hand if needed. Thank you :)

Summary: The property was just right for our needs. There was lots of space. The bedrooms were of a good size and the pillows and linen were lcomfy. We loved the views and the convenience to the sea and the local cafes, bars, supermarket.. All were in walking distance. It has 3 lovely balconies and amazing views of the sunset. We loved having the fields and space around us. The villa had generous welcome fruits, coffee etc. It was well equipped for self catering. It was easy to get to as it was only just of the main route.

Summary: We were met by the lovely Evmorfia who checked us in , a lovely welcoming basket was on the table. Where to start , the views of the sea from every floor, even by the pool. Immaculately clean property. Three double bedrooms. The third bedroom is annexed with its own everything even kitchen and the best sea view, our teenagers were then left in their own space, giving us plenty of room and privacy. The pool area was immaculate and cleaned every three days, as was the property. Extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. If you’re looking for peace quiet and somewhere off the beaten track whilst being close by to towns and places of interest then this is for you. The beach was literally a two minute walk away quiet and small, with fabulous rock pools . You can walk around the rocks for about five mins to reach a still very quiet sandy beach, it felt like we had private beaches. Rethymno was a beautiful town and only ten mins away, closer by there are sea front tavernas 15 min walk away is Eleven which was our favourite . Whilst there is a Lidl two mins down the road if you drive another ten mins there are fab local supermarkets in rethymno. The hospitality of both Evmorfia and Frosso ( the properties owner) was faultless. Frosso has a wonderful pottery shop in Rethymno well worth a visit.

Summary: A lovely selection of beaches within walking distance. If you prefer a quiet spot then walking to the left will give you this. The local tavernas to the rich had plenty of lovely Cretan food and if you prefer not to drive, the local bus can take you to busier places. It was a lovely villa
