Positive: Staff were friendly. Ladies who arranged breakfast and cleaned the rooms and riad worked very hard and do a great job.
Negative: The location this end of town may not be liked by some as the riad is reached by several narow side streets, a much more 'local' area perhaps, groups of men gathered around food cafes and people selling 2nd hand goods laid out on the pavements made the journey a tad uncomfortable at times.

Positive: Our stay at this beautiful dar, located in the heart of the Medina, was truly enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, making us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The property was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated with great attention to detail. We would not hesitate to recommend this dar to others. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Negative: There was only a thin curtain in the bathroom, and the window directly faced another house with a rooftop terrace. In the evenings, people who live in that house were on the terrace and could see into both our room and the bathroom. For privacy and comfort, a thicker curtain or better window covering would have been appreciated.

Positive: Sumptuous breakfasts with delicious fresh fruits, airy quiet rooms, tasteful decor, close to the main shopping streets. Essential to have a superior room with exterior windows.
Negative: Small showers. Better not visit Essaouira if you are allergic to cats.
