Positive: Superb location. Clean comfortable and well equipped cottage. But only a very weak WiFi available during our stay. Staff tried to take action but no satisfactory connection gained. This lead to extra expense for us as we were unable to pre book tickets to attractions and had to therefore pay higher prices at the gate. Also real inconvenience for messaging and no picking up of emails or searching websites etc

Negative: Feather duvets were fine for us but one of our party has a feather allergy that we forgot to mention.

Positive: Beautiful quiet location Tastefully decorated Kind hosts Close proximity to Blenheim Estate Rural feel , borders on farm land Suggest a walking map link to community path at Blenheim

Negative: Suggest an option of flat sheets and blankets, as my husband doesn’t do well with duvets and I am sure many people find them too hot in summer.

Positive: It felt like being at home, it was cosy and had a lovely feel about it. It was also divine to walk through the house with heated floors and the beds were like sleeping on clouds.

Negative: Tom and Jane, the owners were also delightful and so very kindly gave us some after eight dinner mints…. Of course I ate far too many so with Tom’s directions I went for a stunning run loop around the lakes of Blenheim Palace to run off a few calories so I could eat some more 😂

Summary: Ticked every box, thank you 🙏

Positive: Great location, good access to Blenheim. Fabulous bathroom.

Negative: The sound quality of the tv was poor. Struggled to hear it. Wasn’t sure if it was the acoustics or tv itself. Maybe a thicker rug could help.

Positive: Brilliant little cottage, so warm and comfortable! Great location too being able to walk into the grounds of the Blenheim estate was amazing. It’s also close to Hanborough station for direct trains to London and a short stroll to the very friendly village pub.

Positive: The place was lovely to walk into as it felt homely and peaceful. The setting was very restful. It was lovely to hear the birds singing and feel you were in the countryside without being isolated. The hosts Tom and Jane were very helpful if we had any questions. Hope to return.

Positive: Lovely, quiet location in the center of the village looking out into fields. A short walk to Blenheim Park and the village pub. Easy access to buses at Woodstock (can walk across the park to Woodstock for lunch and shopping). Excellent location for exploring the Cotswolds and Oxford. Lovely cottage inside and out.
