Positive: The host was super kind and very caring, best host I had to far (and I love to travel) . Everything was perfectly clean and comfortable. Also slept really well. I enjoyed my stay and reccomand it to everyone!

Positive: Spacious and big. Carpark withing propery area. Quiet place.

Negative: Wifi reception could be better, big space but no good used, small kitchen regarding so spacious house. I would suggest to invest in a kitchen itinerary which is not the best and the newest. Price of stay is to big and expensive for this accomodation.

Positive: The building was well maintained and the rooms were spacious. It was set in a beautifully well maintained garden. There were fresh herbs in the planter by the front door that were available to help oneself. Our host was exceptional and there was no request too big. She gave us the largest punnet ever of fresh cherries picked from the garden, offered to organise us transfers and provided any information asked. It was a great base and the locals were friendly, with a supermarket and a late night restaurant within a stones throw of the apartment, we didn’t want for anything. The local train station had a little cafe which was perfect for a lazy amble onto the regular express trains to Milan or standard trains to Verona (which took us onto our eventual destination Venice) and felt like a real community hub. Again, and despite our poor Italian and their non-existent English we figured out the tickets and had no issues. A really enjoyable stay and we definitely consider staying for longer next time and use the wonderful taxi firm that transferred us for our excursion transfers as not driving around is making this holiday particularly relaxing.

Negative: This was a last minute purchase because I’d messed up on a booking in Venice so needed extra nights near to Bergamo where we landed in Italy. At first I regretted the purchase as it wasn’t quite where I wanted it, I could work out what the public transport situation was I Italy and had no idea what it would cost to travel around given how expensive car hire turned out to be.
