Summary: First class service, the staff were brilliant, had to leave early on last day prior to breakfast and the restaurant ladies insisted on making coffee to go. Dinner was excellent limited menu but first class food. The hotels location was a surprise a secluded woodland with no sight of the heavy industries of the area. Will certainly stay again next time I am in the area.

Summary: The hotel is perfect for a good quite sleep in the busy Ruhr area, because its located in a small park. The breakfast does not have a large selection, but for 6 euro it is okay and at least everything was fresh. I would not recommend it with snowy conditions without a 4wheel drive due to the steep entrance road, but normally that should be no problem.
