Enjoy a gourmet kitchen and dining area equipped with stainless appliances and a large dining table. There is one bedroom on main level and two bedrooms upstairs. Both levels have full bathrooms. Home includes super fast 1gbps fiber WiFi and a dedicated workspace in an upstairs bedroom. Convenient laundry on main level. 65" Samsung smart tv and sound system with local channels and Samsung TV+. Outside there is a large fenced in area for kids and dogs, a large limestone fire ring, and 17 acres with a trail leading to a creek and woods to explore. You may even find an edible mushroom!

Summary: We needed a quick getaway that wasn’t too far to drive so we could enjoy our time together as a family. This fit the bill perfectly. The property itself is ideally located between Bloomington and lake Monroe so we enjoyed both parks/ restaurants and a day on the lake with only about a 15 minute drive to each. Communication with Lance, our host was very good prior to and during our stay. We were greeted by a selection of fresh vegetables from their garden nearby and that was my highlight! The other wonderful thing was how well appointed and CLEAN the place was. We were so impressed by the house and the property. There are plenty of games for kids (and adults who act like kids) to play. Plenty of firewood for bonfires every night. The property is large and there’s a trail down to a creek detailed in the welcome book but we found it too overgrown to do with our little ones (more experienced, older hikers would have no problem in sure). The host was very responsive with all of our needs and made our stay enjoyable. Definitely recommend this rental!

Summary: This house is amazing! The property is within a short distance from Monroe Lake and downtown Bloomington. The hosts are very accommodating and welcoming to guests. They live close so if anything is needed they can help very quickly. Overall the stay was wonderful and perfect for my families stay to visit the lake!
