The Space:
If you are looking for a quiet getaway in an uncrowded super friendly safe neighborhood near some of Florida's most beautiful beaches, you just found a true needle in a haystack.
On a large tropical lot, this two-story, air-conditioned, stylish, bright immaculate home boasts brand new furniture and furnishings, and a gorgeous screened pool. Brand new kitchen with granite and European cabinets. Just a short stroll to the Gulf of Mexico and the community fishing pier, from which to watch the wonderful sunsets.
The house features a lush tropical garden and the fabulous screened free-form pool with a waterfall that sounds like a babbling brook in the woods.
Hardwood floors with terracotta tiles, together with an abundance of windows and a high vaulted ceiling create a bright, sun-drenched great room on the second floor. It is furnished in a modern, uncluttered European style. The great room has TV & hi-fi, and leads out onto the upper floor deck amongst the treetops, which has grill/BBQ, chairs and a table. Wireless internet service is also included.
On the first floor there is a large comfortable family room with Digital Cable TV, DVD/VHS and plenty of space, leading out through french doors to the patio and pool.
The kitchen is brand new, with granite countertops and European cabinets. All stainless steel appliances, including dishwasher, and large refrigerator/freezer with ice maker. You will find everything you need should you want to cook - full range of pans, utensils; also provided are microwave, toaster, coffee maker and electric plug-in kettle.
There are three bedrooms, two are upstairs, one of which has a king bed, the other has two twins. The third bedroom is on the lower floor and has two twin beds. There are two full bathrooms; one has a full-size tub with overhead shower, the other has a large shower cubicle. (There is also an outside shower for use when returning from the beach).
Crystal Beach is a wonderful safe community with friendly neighbors and a timeless charm. Its beaches and community fishing pier and park are just a 5-minute stroll away. At sunset it is traditional for the residents of Crystal Beach to drift towards the fishing pier and watch the sun go down together with a glass of wine.
Innisbrook PGA Championship golf course is just 5 minutes from the door.
The beautiful beaches of Honeymoon and Caladesi islands are a 10-minute drive away. Just one minute from the Pinellas Trail, you can enjoy biking, rollerblading, jogging or simply strolling every day. Or, if you prefer, relax in your own backyard by the screened pool or on the upper level wooden deck. Dunedin and Tarpon Springs are adorable charming towns with many restaurants for true foodies.
Loads of space to relax or play - every comfort has been provided in this individual home for you to enjoy your vacation at any time of year.

Summary: Great place, safe and quiet neighborhood but I would not stay here in the summer. We stayed in February and this place was perfect with the cool nights but AC is not to be set below 76 and second floor would get a bit warm at that setting. Thankfully, downstairs stayed cool. My friend has some health concerns and she would not have been able to tolerate the heat in the house during the summer. Curtains or blinds on the upstairs living rooms windows would definitely help.

Summary: The second floor deck is missing some spindles. Could be a problem for toddlers. The pool pump needs attention. Had to backwash several times to make the water circulate.

Summary: The property was exactly as listed. Very clean. Neighborhood is very quiet and nice. I wish the pool had a heater. It was hard with the A/C being capped at 76. The outside temps were swinging from 80's to 60's/50's at night and meant the A/C wouldn't run. This made it humid and really warm inside especially at night which made sleeping pretty rough. Overall though the property was nice and as described.

Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our visit in the Crystal Beach/Clearwater Beach area; close to bike trail, Honeymoon Island and nice to see the community gather for beautiful sunsets, sit by the pool listening to the fountain was very relaxing. We were disappointed that being close to the Gulf there was not beach access like we thought it stated and while the landscaping of home was nice and relaxing the pool was not heated or warm enough to be able to get in, and seemed like there was a lot of traffic in the community during the night. The home appeared to be very clean on surface; the kitchen was nicely decorated and well stocked with everything you would need and bathrooms were nice the floor of the home appeared clean but the floor was not at all clean. There was quite a bit of sand and dirt on the floor that our feet would be black walking across a good mopping or vacuuming would have been helpful. The mattresses were not the most comfortable to sleep on. We met Paul at the home upon arrival and was very nice and welcoming. There are things we would recommend for this home while there were things that we would not recommend.
