The setting was breathtaking. Mist rolling over Loch Ness in the morning, dramatic skies at sunset, total stillness at night — it felt like we had stepped into another world. You don’t just visit somewhere like this, you feel it. The cottage managed to be both wild and indulgent at the same time — rugged Scottish scenery outside, roaring fire and total comfort inside. It was romantic, peaceful, and genuinely restorative. It didn’t feel like a break. It felt like an experience you talk about for years.

Positive: Beautifully decorated. All you could need is there. The fireplace is amazing. Everything you need to know is written down, thank you! We are sure we will be back.

Negative: A bit cold and humid. However there are enough warm blankets around. Loud in the morning because of the main street. So make sure you bring earplugs, then you will be fine.
