Positive: The CrossFit Tiny House was a charming little abode in the outskirts of Iya Valley. Connected to a well stocked CrossFit gym, it provided us with everything we needed, a well equipped kitchen, clean and comfortable bathing facilities, cozy sleeping and a peaceful environment to use as a base to explore the valley for a few days. We also participated in a mobility class in the gym free of charge as guests of the house and the owners were kind and helpful 🙂

Positive: Virtually everything - wildlife, nature, bathing in the river, gym, staff...absolutely fabulous. The high point was the river - it was a warm, sunny day and a perfect opportunity to swim in the nearby, cool river. Our kids jumped into the water from a high rock. An extraordinary, unique place, highly recommended for all.

Positive: Lovely little custom design tiny house. Lovely quiet position, convenient for Oboke and Iya valleys. Washing machine with a dryer was handy. Convenience store was close.

Positive: The design of the house was well considered, everything you deeded was there, and the setting, though remote, was stunning. The option of having a free fitness classes while you’re there is a bonus. There’s a grocery store next door, but it closes early.

Negative: It more remote than we realised, with no restaurants nearby.

Summary: The Tiny House was a cosy get away, in beautiful natural surroundings.

Positive: Deep in the valley of Iya, self catering accommodation is not easy to find and so we chose this option. The tiny house was sufficiently well equipped to cater for our needs.

Negative: The very steep stairs leading to the sleeping area were bordering on the dangerous side and not suitable for people with restricted mobility. Instructions for the shower/bath area would have been a help.

Summary: Not suitable unless you have your own transport due to its isolated location.
