Positive: Loved the wide range of games available loved the hot tub and the bathrooms and all the bedrooms had plentiful space, the shop was over the road and convenient and there was plenty of fields 2 minutes walk away very idea for dogs.

Negative: The hot tub could have done with a proper clean before arrival as didn't take long for the bacteria to grow back maybe some chemicals on standby could have helped, the table was a bit of a squeeze for 10 of us and the kitchen where had an awsome cooker was lacking in a lot of utensils amd pots and bowls ect that would usually expect, amd was very short on towels the master bedroom didn't have any and there was only 2 gray ones for the hotub

Positive: Lovely Big house and was decorated well. Hot tub in the garden and spacious kitchen

Negative: Paid £30 for an hour early check in but when we get there at 3pm cleaners were still working and didn’t leave till 4pm. Cleaners advised the hot tub had to be emptied and refilled and don’t be ready for 2 hours. At 9pm the hot tub was still cold. We paid £850 for the house specifically to use the hot tub so this was a massive let down! Also had to pay a £450 security deposit for the hosue which I was advised would be returned within 72 hours but this took 4 days and I had to message several times to get my money back. When outside in the hot tub we also had children in the park next to the house shouting abuse at us and throwing sticks and vapes at us. No help was given when I messaged the property and I had to call the police to have this resolved. As I group of girls away for my birthday we felt unsafe and unsupported. Would not stay again

Positive: The cottage is very well equipped and was very clean. Great value for money and in a great location. Only a 10 minute drive to Leeds centre and has a shop opposite it.

Negative: Not sure if it was meant to be provided but we didn’t get any washing up liquid. And also was only left 6 toilet rolls which between 14 people for 2.5 days was not enough, we had to buy more. I slept in the bedroom with the en-suite and even though the room was spotless and the bathroom was really good, the bed was slightly uncomfortable as we could feel the bed frame through the mattress.

Summary: Everyone thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away at Cross Lane Cottage.

Positive: Great location, addition of hot tub darts board and pool table made it a great stay, open plan downstairs was great for a group booking, whole place was clean and comfortable, hosts available if needed and good communication in lead up to stay would defo a stay again if so where is needed for a group booking

Positive: This was an absolute gem of a find to celebrate my 30th birthday!! We were meant to travel to Dublin however with the riots we decided the night before we were not going to go and came across this place at 10pm Thursday night to go the next day. I’m positive in saying we had a better time. The house sleeps up to 14 I believe, there were 12 of us and there was plenty of room. The main bedroom with the ensuit was amazing, and had most of the girls in the room getting ready. Open plan living/dining area with a pool table and darts board too which we had a great laugh playing. Kitchen was a great size too. Hot tub outside which is always a great idea after a couple of Proseccos. A small shop across the road too which is great, and it was literally a 15 min Uber into Leeds centre so about £10. The hosts for here were always on hand if we had any questions or needed help with something too. And we’re very flexible with us! Without going on any longer, if you are thinking of booking just do it, girls weekend, family break, or anything else it will be perfect.
