We took over from the amazing host Tracy in mid-November 2018. This cottage is an original Queenslander with everything you need to make life comfortable, relaxing & enjoyable. Only 10 mins walk to shops, cafes, parks, public transport and the beautiful Moreton Bay. Easy access to Brisbane City, Airport, Sunshine & Gold Coasts. The cottage is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers and families.
The space
The house is totally self contained providing everything that a home requires. The three bedrooms, sleeping up to five people, are configured as 1 x queen, 1 x double and 1 x single. The bathroom boasts a large walk in shower, pedestal basin and toilet. The second toilet is conveniently located to the rear of the house, close to the outdoor area.
Self-Contained Kitchen and dining table. Large living space for the whole family.
The Queensland outdoor lifestyle theme carries to the fully fenced garden at the rear of the house where you will find a large covered outdoor living area complete with bbq and outdoor dining setting.
Guest access
The house is a self managed space. You will have code access the key safe to let yourself in and come and go as you please.
The house has front and back access.
There is street parking available (no meters or time limits in our street)

Summary: This property was delightful! A gorgeous worker’s cottage with history, spotlessly clean, and with very good amenities. It easily accommodated five adults, and with a lovely outdoor zone, at no time did it feel crowded. The area was lovely, beaches only a short distance away, and lots of things to do nearby. Great pub with water views also nearby. A big part of the initial appeal for us was the rustic charm. We didn’t need to use the air conditioners at all, despite the hot days - once the doors were open, and a couple of side windows, a lovely breeze quickly cooled the rooms down, and the outdoor area also benefits from shade trees and breezes. The owners were easy to deal with, great communications, and good instructions for all aspects of the property. I can definitely recommend - a hidden gem!
