Summary: Although probably the best hotel and restaurant in Betws-y-Coed it is looking rather dated and in need of some further refurbishment eg the dripping hot tap in the bathroom and the carpet in the common areas. A 4 star hotel but not sure how it warranted this grading. The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, we ate here twice but service was very slow due to ‘chef’ staffing problems, but the food was good. A bit surprised that a glass of wine came out of a miniature rather than a full bottle. The meal is also not cheap, £36 for a main and a dessert!!
