Summary: The wooden house was incredibly cozy, and the pool was beautiful—actually larger than we expected. Parking was convenient, and the house was very well equipped. Honestly, there was hardly anything missing. The communication with the host was always friendly, quick, and polite. One thing to note is that the way to reach the house is quite steep. Also, being at around four hundred and twenty meters above sea level means it's a bit cooler compared to right down by the sea. Another small downside was that the gardener came three times a week, often early in the morning, which was a bit disruptive. But, I suppose that's part of keeping everything so well maintained. We also had two lizards in the kitchen during the week and found a large cockroach, which wasn't ideal, but understandable given the natural surroundings.

Summary: The house is just as described.. better. Elizabeth has thought of everything to make your stay as easy as possible with helpful condiments and toiletries. The garden is just as the photos. We came to relax and did just that, we stayed at the house doing very little for a number of days we were there which was perfect. The house is a long way from anywhere with very steep roads to access it, my only tip would be to have a flight that arrives in daylight. Negotiating the roads in a hire car after a day travelling was challenging!

Summary: We loved our stay at this tranquil retreat. It felt like a little piece of paradise and was the perfect place to relax. The view from the property is stunning and we loved the peace and quiet just listening to the birds and watching the lizards. It is off the beaten path away from the tourist trap which was perfect for us although a car is a must. The house was great and we had everything that we needed although tbf we only used it to cook in and sleep in, spending our days outside. The perfect place if you are wanting to relax and recharge your batteries 🙂

Summary: We (two people) spent nine days in this beautiful house. We only had sunshine in February. The house is very quiet, yet central, so that the places we wanted to visit, were easily accessible: the Teide, the concert hall in Santa Cruz and the observatory. The house has everything you need. Elizabeth helped us when we shut out in panic. Thank you!

Summary: We stayed there for 4 weeks and the house had all, what we need. If you like to hike, there at plenty of possibilities. The teresse have sun all the day and wonder full viewe. Even it was a cloudy month all around Tenerife, we did not need to use the heaters. We really used the town a lot, there were several festivals, its a town with a lot of life.. On Ruta de la Tapas, we tast a lot nice tapas. Please visit, in Guimar city, the really good and not expensive restaurant & hotel 'Buen Retiro' also called Casade la Musica, an old fashionable house It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The have big terrase and nice space indor. Friendly for children too. We recomend this place 100%

Summary: This is a great a place to stay as a family and to get away from it all! It's situated about 10 minutes up the mountain from Guimar, about 40minutes from the southern airport. Within 15 minutes you're on the TF-1 main road to Santa Cruz for some culture, Candelaria or Puertito de Guimar for nice places to eat and swim, the Anaga mountains for adventurous hikes. From Guimar you can also easily access one of the main routes into the Teide National Park. With the house being up the mountain, it is very tranquil and private. The view is of the sea and the agricultural terraces below. Our 7 year old son absolutely loved being in the garden checking out lizzards and having fun in the pool. There's a lovely patio to have breakfast on and a BBQ at night. Comfortable deck chairs and sun loungers provide great opportunity to relax during the day. The house is clean and well equipped. The beds are good. There are nearby supermarkets in Guimar and plenty of good places to eat in Puertito and Candelaria. This is a great base to explore the real Tenerife from and to enjoy a very relaxing holiday!
