Summary: I am on a mountain bike tour and rolled in about 4p on Labor Day in a rain storm, in need of a dry/warm place to sleep. On the outside the town, and by association, the motel is a bit funky. However, inside the room was clean and super cute with a small "kitchen" that suited my needs 100%. And the host was very hospitable and welcoming!

Summary: This would be a good place to stay in the spring, fall, or winter. It isn't a good place in the summer because there isn't any A/C, a fact not mentioned anywhere on the web page. The fans provided did no good. We only stayed 1 of the 2 nights we paid for because we were so miserable. The fact that they omitted the information about the lack of A/C was significant; other reviews mentioned it as an issue so they knew other guests have had the same complaint.

Summary: The room was very well appointed with comforts beyond a usual roadside motel: good bed linens, ample and good quality towels in a spacious bathroom, tasteful decor and "kitchen" amenities (beyond the usual coffee pot) covering most needs for people bringing in their own food (no restaurant nearby). Even though there was no air conditioning (and it was hot), the two fans certainly sufficed until the cool of evening. I just felt there was a personal touch, much like a small B&B.
