Positive: Very spacious apartment spread over 3 floors in a quiet, upscale part of Lagos, each with a large terrace and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Even though there are 6 apartments in the building, we barely saw or heard any neighbors, so it felt almost like a private villa. The pool was a huge bonus, it’s shared by all apartments, but we had it completely to ourselves every time. Great value for money and honestly the best accommodation we’ve had in Portugal. The host was kind, responsive, and communication was excellent.

Negative: The only “downside” (if you can even call it that) was that the house was so cozy we sometimes struggled to choose between exploring Algarve beaches or just relaxing at the villa. But that’s the kind of problem you actually want to have :)

Summary: If you look for a very good accommodation in Algarve, think no longer.

Positive: Great location 20-30 min stroll into lagos each eve. Beach nearby (you could walk or drive). So much room in the accommodation. Hilde was wonderful host and also met her grandson. Supermarkets nearby . You could get away with no car but I always recommend as so many other nice beaches to visit, water park , kayaking, boat trips. We even got uber to deliver one eve. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. The apartment/ town house is on 3 levels so ve aware of steps.
