Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The location was ideal for visiting family and exploring the area. Sherman is super nice. And the house had everything we needed and charm to spare. It was winter, so we didn't make use of the lake, but when it snowed one morning, the scene was gorgeous. Thanks!

Summary: So glad we stayed at this lovely, cozy home on Candlewood Lake over a winter weekend. The lakefront house is charming on the outside and fully updated on the inside with a fresh, modern aesthetic. The hosts have thought of every detail and amenity to make guests feel welcome right away. Super-comfortable beds, great kitchen island to sip coffee around, and cool amenities (we loved the espresso machine!). Easy check-in and responsive hosts who are obviously invested in their guests having a comfortable stay in Sherman. So much to do in the area - don't miss New Preston, Port Washington, New Milford, and Kent - hiking, great restaurants, shopping, rolling hills and farms. Can't wait to return!
