Summary: This cottage was a perfect getaway! Situated on a hillside that overlooked a wide swath of the beach, it was pure delight. The home was nicely appointed and very cozy. Our 4-night stay was wonderful and close to many small towns we had planned to explore. We loved going through the tunnel on the beach, rock-hounding, and eating seafood at the local restaurants. When dining in, we found all the dishes and utensils that we needed. Thank you for sharing your home. We will return!

Summary: Positive…. The view is amazing from both floors/ decks!!! Very nice kitchen, made cooking our meals and my wife baking cookies awesome, bed was comfy, proximity to the beaches excellent, house was cleaned to expectation…. Negative no cable television, internet did not work Vacasa did have a free version that we were able to use….. overall we had a really nice stay!

Summary: This home was a great size for our small family and had a nice layout with two ensuite bedrooms on the lower level and a living space on top with beautiful views. It has a spacious kitchen with pretty countertops and a wine fridge. The Wifi is reliable and fast. The heated bathroom floors were nice on chilly mornings. The town is quaint with a wonderful beach to explore and a few local cafes with delicious food and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the home was severely lacking. The windows and sliding glass doors were extremely dirty, obstructing the view of the beautiful ocean. There were thick layers of dust, hair, and food wrappers under both beds, behind the headboards, under the bathroom vanities, and under the couch. The open shelving in the kitchen, art frames, window sills, etc. had visible dust. The window slides had dirt and mold. We went into town to buy Windex and disinfecting wipes and spent the first night of vacation wiping down surfaces, vacuuming, and cleaning windows. I contacted Vacasa on the first night and received a text saying they were working with their local team to resolve these issues. We did not receive any further communication and there is not a way to contact the owner directly.

Summary: If I was ever going to have a rental place of our own with everything we wanted,, this would be it! This had the view, everything to make you comfortable, including wonderful kitchen, Internet, Roku, comfortable beds and washer dryer. also, it was a short walk to the beach! We were a family of four with two adults and two kids, and it was perfect!

Summary: A perfect perch for myself, and my sweetie and the crow friends that we made while sitting on the deck. My first time ever staying in Oceanside. I love that this community is small, quaint, about nature. Made a small drive to Light House, totally worth it, especially if you are a lighthouse nerd. Made friends with the crows, total plus, especially if you’re a bird nerd. Made it down and walk through the tunnel to the hidden beach, worth the adventure. Cooked a lot. Lounged a lot. Great spot to reset.
