Summary: Very clean and well equipped. Great place to hike Esther and whiteface from! Amy was awesome with communication and the beds were comfortable!I highly recommend! The deck would have been wonderful had the wether cooperated.Thanks Amy!

Summary: We loved the chalet. My cousin and her kids had rooms upstairs and I had the ground lever bedroom w easy access for my dogs. The location was perfect and the property was perfect for a weekend of hiking and fishing

Summary: Tucked in the woods, we saw deer and a Luna moth. It got surprisingly cold a couple days, but the owner supplied wood for a wood stove, which was nice. She seemed to think of everything for the kitchen too. Downside: steep stairs

Summary: We stayed here on Memorial Day weekend for a getaway with our 19 and 22 year old . It was a perfect trip with hiking, fishing and restaurants nearby. The host was quick to respond to any questions. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Summary: We stayed at the Cedar Chalet for the weekend. We came up for a weekend of skiing/snowboarding with our teenage kids. The chalet is very cozy and comfy. There was plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 teenage kids. The chalet is less than 15 minutes from Whiteface Mountain and about 30 min to the town of Lake Placid. Amy checked in with us a couple of times and was very easy to communicate with. We enjoyed playing the board games she has available for guests. Many reviews have mentioned the stairs - they are a bit steep but very manageable. We would definitely stay again if we are traveling to the area.
