2 Bedroom Cabin in Lakemont

The Wexford Hideaway is the perfect place to escape and unwind. When you walk in the front door, you are greeted with a two story living room and wood burning fireplace. Relax on the couch while streaming your favorite show, or curl up in one of our sitting areas with a good book.
The kitchen is fully stocked with all the basic cooking essentials. We have several spices on hand as well as olive oil. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning with the Keurig pods that are provided.
The dining area seats 6 guests comfortably for a home cooked meal while overlooking the backyard. Chances are you will get a sighting of our resident deer family. After dinner choose between one of the many board games we have for a friendly competition.
You will find the master bedroom on the main level with a king size Casper mattress and attached bathroom. Also on the main level is a half bathroom with a washer and dryer. We have provided detergent pods for your use.
Head upstairs to the loft where we have a desk for your remote work needs. The loft also has a twin size trundle bed where you can sleep two additional guests. The trundle is ideal for children or short adults. The upstairs bedroom consists of a queen size bed. Though the house does have air conditioning, this room can get warm in the summer months. There is a full bathroom upstairs and plenty of towels.
Head outside and enjoy the rocking chairs on the front porch with your coffee in the morning. Relax on the screened in porch or spend time with friends and family around the fire pit. Extendable skewers provided for all of your s’more needs!
The backyard is fenced in so you can relax while your pups explore.

Summary: Perfect cabin…. So peaceful and relaxing…. Beds was comfortable the master bedroom and bathroom is beautiful. With and huge soak tube and walk in shower. Beautiful surroundings every where you go … enjoy coffee on the front porch or back patio and watch the deer. Kids enjoyed hiking to the falls, swimming and fishing in close by lake access. Host was very nice and always represented with any questions. House was clean and had everything we needed.

Summary: Lovely property. The host provided practically everything one would possibly need for your stay, right down to a well stocked spice cabinet! The open floor plan along with the screened in porch made for an extremely relaxing space. Also, the outside fire pit area experience is one you never want to end.We were blown away with all the amenities and look forward to returning next year.

Summary: Our stay at the cabin was absolutely amazing. It was perfect in size and setting which made it feel so homey. The location allowed us to visit multiple waterfalls over the week along with small town shopping and lovely places to eat. There were so many small touches that the host has thought of everything. We have already begun to plan our next trip to the mountains and will definitely be returning to stay here again!!

Summary: We had a great time at the cabin. The weather did not hold up but we still really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was better than the description in my opinion. This is a clean and quiet cabin in an ideal area. Deer right outside the cabin each morning. We plan on coming back. Thank you so much.

Summary: This property totally exceeded our expectations. It was so private and so cool to watch the deer outback and have a nightly fire. The fenced yard was great for our dogs to enjoy. The screened patio are was so nice to have morning coffee. The inside was so nicely decorated and comfortable. The king bed was so comfortable. We had everything available to cook if we decided to stay in. Lakemont area was just beautiful and the town of Clayton had some great restaurants and shops. The area has several wineries and waterfalls. We went to Helen for a few hours just to experience it very touristy Clayton was very nice and quaint.

Summary: This cottage ended up being perfect for our stay at Lake Rabun. Its very clean and very well take care of. Beds are super comfortable! Location was great for us, easy to Lake Rabun & Clayton, and also very easy to Lake Seed, Burton. The check in process is very modern and easy. We so much enjoyed our stay!
